Directional Bore Installation
Directional boring is a highly efficient method of placing ducts and MicroDuct bundles in established commercial and residential areas. This method involves boring pits at predetermined spacing intervals with minimal disruption of paved or landscaped surfaces.
LARGE DIRECTIONAL DRILL OPERATION
Use this method for drilling of large diameter or multiple single or bundled ducts and MicroDucts in situations such as river or culvert crossings, under paved roads or lots where other excavation methods are not practical or desirable. The pull-back reamer is typically sized 50% larger than the duct or bundle diameter to ensure clearance.
FTTH & OSP UPGRADE INSTALLATIONS
Use a smaller directional drilling unit for less-intrusive placing of ducts and MicroDucts for providing fiber-to-the-home or, business (FTTH, FTTB) applications; as well as expanding or upgrading general telco or CATV services in established or old infrastructure areas.
